Which beam is the lowbeam on an 04 Civic Coupe? Is it the outer with the refractor over it, or the inner with no refractor?

Typically I would say this is an easy question, but I could have sworn on my friends car it was the inner which in the brief time I had last night in the rain didn't seem right.

So, I figured I'd turn here to the pros for help before diving in again tonight.

 

outer one with the refractor is your regular headlight (when you turn the switch twice)

inner one is your DRL (daytime running lights, only in Canada) and your highbeam

That's what I was semi afraid of... Crap I'm an idiot... I turned her headlights on and could have sworn it was the inner one that was out... But I didn't see if she had her high beams on... Then again now I am second guessing myself...
