wheel hop
innovative engine mounts (complete mounts) will resolve wheel hop issues. Motor mount inserts (esmm) should help if you cant afford the complete mount kit.
Poly front control-arm bushings do wonders for wheel-hop.(energy suspension kit)
Tires can have alot of say in it also.
Very hard sidewalls will give you grief.
He's right, get the full replacement mounts if you can afford it.

Summer tires will do it bad in the cold, too. I'm planning on a set of winters to use even when it's dry -- their compound is designed for cooler weather.
I'd splurge for the Mugen hard rubber mounts instead. They won't deform and wear out like polyurethane does, and don't shake the cabin as much, either. Pricey, but I've heard nothing but good comments about them.

yeah i notice it too... I messed up two of my mounts amd had them replaced under warranty probabley because of the wheel hop that did damage to the mounts.
I heard really good things about the innovative mounts, which is what im saving up to get. They dont vibrate nearly us much as essm's.

Mugen mounts run $285 at King Motorsports for a set of three (no rear mount, as the Type-R rear mounts are beefier already). There's at least one owner over at ClubRSX who has them, and he likes them quite a lot -- more responsive drivetrain, little to no wheelhop, and barely any increase in vibration (even less than urethane inserts).
You'll have to select Mugen and look in the Suspension -> Bushings section; I can't link to it directly.
