Default What size tires and springs do I need for this setup?

I'm thinking about getting some 18" wheels for my 1997 Prelude SH. I'm going to get the Mugen Body Kit at the same time. The wheels I'm thinking about getting are Konig Sideways 18 x 7.5, with 215/35-18 tires as a default option. I'd actually like to go as wide as I can with wheels/tires.

What would be the widest I could go with these wheels as well as what kind of springs do I need? Tein S Tech or Eibach? I know this isn't a Mugen kit, but I'm trying to get this amount of space between my tires and fenders...
So ,
1. What kind of springs to I need for this drop &
2. What's the widest I could go with 18's

You could probably fit an 18 X 8 with some spacers. The Eibach Sportlines will be a lower drop than the Teins, but they advise the use of aftermarket shocks as well. May I ask, if you are purchasing Mugen parts, why are you complementing them/it with Konigs? Get some Volks or something if you're gonna be a baller.

OK. I'd like it to fit just to the edge of the fender. Quite similar to the picture actually. So what if I don't put spacers...it'll rub? I just like the Konig Sideways for some reason. Volks are pretty nice though.

How much do you think those Konigs weigh? If you get some big heavy wheels because you like the way they look you're going to be unhappy when your car is slower and clumsier.

Volks and other forged wheels are nice because they are lightweight (my 15's are 8.8 lbs each).

I'll probably get a replica...save some money.

I don't know how much they weigh. I haven't looked it up. But I don't think I'll spend 2 1/2 G's or more on TE37's. That'll be nice though. Are there any other wheels that look like TE37's?

If u buy just a look alike heavy rim compared to the actual rim that ways less your car will go slower. It may cost a bit more, but haveing that extra speed is worth it i think, dont you?

Yep, Rota Grids are TE37 replicas.

I got my TE37s for $500 used...you can find good deals if you shop around. I think new 15" TE37s are around $1100-1200.

my suggestion...just stick with some 16" rims that are lighter and slam that lude...smaller rims and lighter rims = better pick up speed..but thats to me...i think you should check out the rota line ups maybe if your not planning to spend much...also i highly recommend not to purchase those konigs...just a thought...good luck though

Those numbers (215/35-18)were basically copied and pasted right from Discount Tire's Website. I'll consider the 40's also. What do you think about 220 or 225's? I like the wider look.

I know getting 18's will slow me down. I'm doing it more for the looks. Later on I'll probably get a JRSC to compensate for any HP loss, but that's another story.

How much could I get those 18" Rota Grids for Brand New?
