I used to drive by the impound all the time. Best car i saw was a Boosted black DC2 with a JDM front end. Right next to a silver S2k.

 

well if my honda bike counts i got it impounded and it was there for like 5 days cost $400 to get it out

agree. this thread is going to bring arguments to people who have big ego's and dont think they deserved to be impounded for doing something stupid. stand up to your actions and deal with it, i dont particularly enjoy the police but if i was doing something as stupid as driving with no license thats nothing but my fault.

on a better note i was driving wayyy too fast about a year ago adn i got wreckless driving, speeding, and driving out of class. im a dumbass, and i learned the hardway. but luckily i didnt have my car impounded

Theres a stretch of highway that is scarcely occupied at certain times of the day. I travel it everyday on the way to either work or school, and I was running late. I was feeling a it froggy and decided to cruise at 100-110-ish and I went right passed a Memphis police officer. Naturally, he pulled out and I stopped as soon as I could when I saw lights. When he got up to my car he asked, "Why in the hell did you stop? you could have easily lost me..." lol, all I said was "I dont want to go to jail. "

He knocked it down to a 60 in a 55 and I went on my merry way with a lesson learned.

I got my car impounded because I had an outstanding warrant for not appearing in court for my first DUI for which I blew a .28, and I got pulled over because the cop ran my plates and I tried to run because I was drunk and I had coke in my car, I was doing 80 through this neighborhood and almost ran into a cop that was trying to corner me in. They found the coke and I blew a .25 so they took my car and my license for a year which doesn't matter because I'm supposed to serve 5 years at tent city, I went to my court hearing but I'm not going to my sentencing, I figure as long as I don't get pulled over I should be fine. expletive Tempe PD anyways they're a bunch of bitches, if they had never pulled me over in the first place none of this **** would have happened.

 

You had coke in your car and you were drunk and the police are bitches. Sounds like the bitch way out to me. You need to grow the expletive up and take responsibility for your own damn actions. Or maybe you were to busy drinking and doing lines of coke off the passenger seat to get a damn clue.

My old car was impounded after I sold it. The kid I sold it to didn't have license or insurance. He didn't even register it under his name. He gave me $4000 Cash and I gave him the title. Later the impound sent me a letter to go pick up the car for a fee of $700 or so dollars. I was going to pick it up but I had to get a release from the police and show proof of insurance. At the end I was being lazy about it and lost it.

 

sooo uh why not go pick it up and sell it AGIAN! :wink:

 

I thought about it but I was afraid he wrecked it and I didn't want to be responsible for it, because I thought it was weird they asked me for a copy of my insurance.
