My friend gave me a d16z6 engine... but it comes with no crankshaft pulley... so will a d16y8 crank pulley fit on there... cause i have one in hand.

i search for the piece number and ther were almost the same

13810-P26-003 for the z6

and

13810-P2K-003 for the y8

so is it a go or a no go?

 

On my old y8 I had a problem putting the DX? pulley on it. The only problem was that when I torqued it to the engine it sandwiched the plastic cover with the timing mark. I'm sure mechanically they'll work together, but I would check that plastic cover.

i put a eg dx pulley on my dohc zc before.. its not going to break yoru motor just watch teh cover like he said
