ek exhaust question
up....i am in the same situation....i have a 2000 gsr muffler, and i want to somehow make it into an axleback on a 99 dx hatchback. do you have to cut and weld a pipe on, or can you directly bolt it on?
would a gsr stock axle back...be any better than a stock ex,ls,dx,lx,etc..............pea hole??????..i would understand a ctr or itr stock axle back....why dont u just save up and get a good used axle back..for instance....i sold my 5 month old 5zigen miracle fireball...blah blah.....axle back for 150$$....or u can get a new one for under 300$.....unless u have a hook up on welding..i believe welding would run 40 -60 bucks depending on were u go and who u know???wouldnt it just be easier to save a little to get a dope axle ????
Well i have a stock gsr muffler laying around i dont need to buy one. The stock cx muffler is ugly as sin, and even if it doesnt give a power increase it will look a helluva lot better. But looking at that thing i would image the gsr muffler will be an improvement. If i can have this put on for 40 bux at a muffler shop that wouldnt be bad since the muffler is free. I just wanted to know what was involved. Im planning on staying stock until i swap except for a few cosmetic upgrades, so the gsr muffler will do just fine
