Tranny Flush - how to refill?
Kind of a dumb question - I am planning to do a tranny flush this weekend on a 94 accord Ex. I've seen a number of threads outlining the flushing procedure, but I can't find anything that explains how to refill the fluid back into the tranny (I am assuming it needs to be refilled until it's showing up at the correct level on the dipstick). Do any of you guys have a picture/diagram of where I should refill the fluid? TIA

Yep ATF-Z1 is the stuff to use

Just to be sure you get it done correctly; you do know to check the trans fluid level with Engine Off. it should take 3 quarts if you are doing a drain and refill; Well the spec is 2.8 quarts, but the extra .2 won't hurt anything.

car has to be warm first though. and then you check it with it off. I think i put 3 in when i did it.

I checked the manual and it says that the transmission capacity (after a drain and refill) is 3.4qt, so that's what I added. Are you guys saying to put in 3 because you are thinking of a manual transmission? This is an automatic.
well just check it the way you were told to and make sure its not too high. If its too high it will bubble out and then you won't have enough. Just as long as its in between the lines i wouldn't worry about it

That manual you have is a lying dog. Auto trans will take a little less than 3 quarts, and as far as checking it with the engine off and a 'HOT' engine,[never heard that one?] look out for the radiator hose.
