Default questions about underbody neon ...

anybody know about having them under the car during winter (in snow)...Do they need to be removed before winter, or can they be left under there...also does anybody know whats the difference with the streetglow blue and gold series, other then the gold series have longer tubes?? is the gold series more for competion and the blue more for street??

dont tell me about how i shouldn't get them, how they are gay, etc...i wouldn't be asking this question if i didnt want them...thanks

I had red ones on my VW for 2 years throghout winter. I wouldnt' keep them on while driving, jut like outside my house and at movies and out to eat and stuff. I had an optima deep cycle battery and would leave them on for 6 hours or so and never killed my battery. Just be very careful when installed them, you can crack the inside bulb very easily if you flew the tube!!! The difference between the blue and gold series is that the gold series acutally has a seperate transformer, which makes the bulbs glow better, I"m 90% sure the bulbs are the same lenght though. Street glow also has a lifetime waranty on the blubs, but if you crack the outside tube tough luck. I had 2 bulbs replaced on my last kit and then the whole kit replaced because the transformer and everything was acting funny, and then 2 bubls replaced on my new kit cause I wasn't careful when installed them. All in all I'm glad I bought them and they look cool even though you'll prob be made fun of on here. Where I live though it has impressed a lot of people!!

i had a low glow 6 piece kit on my old s10 xtreme, and after winter in spring when i tried usin em again, some would work and some didn't. I thought it was the bulb, but it happend to be the transformer and they replaced it for free ;D

if its all done in good tastes im all for it. Ive seen people that have made their kits look amazing. I had one pic of a white 98+ eg on my old computer before it crashed (cant find the same pic again anywhere), the car was white with a red glow kit to light up the whole inner front bumper, it was very nice. If you can do it in good taste, go for it, If you pick some wack *** colors like pink or lime green, then im sorry to say you probably are gay (unless it flows with the rest of the car, but you prolly still are gay).

If you dont act like a dumb fvck and keep them on while driving all the time or in front of cops, you wont get tickets.
