Default EM1 Brake questions...

I have a 00 EBP EM1. I was wondering what kind of brake upgrades (if any) are available out there. Im looking for something that I can put 15" or 16" wheels. Thanks in advance...

Your car comes w/ 15" wheels from the factory. There are several upgrades, some require 17" wheels. Search around. The brakes you have are great already, unless you have moster horsepower and need the braking power.

Brembo Blanks, Plower Slot, and Stop-Tech are good stock size replacements. Also a god set of pads like Hawk or EBC. Calipers can be quite expensive - Spoon, Brembo, and Wilwood are good. Some SS brake lines can help to reduce flex in the stock rubber lines as well. Get a good set of tires and you are ready to rock.

I use Brembo blanks and Hawk ceramic pads. They are noisier than stock but they stop great with little to no fade.

hawk over ebc in a hearbeat, anyday. I've only heard negative things about many of ebc's compounds.
