Default front tag

I am pretty sure this has been covered before, but I couldn't find it with the search. So please don't tell me to search because I already did. With that said I want to know if you need to remove the front bumper to take the tag bracket off. Hopefully there is a write up somewhere out there over the rainbow. But I couldn't find it. to me

by front tag you mean licence plate right?

if so, then no bumper removal is not required.

If they did, there's a website that sells hole plugs that are painted to match factory paint. I'm sure it's on here somewhere or 8thcivic.

....They drilled, it sucks, I know, I took mine off and I still have an ugly hole smack dab in the middle of my bumper.

you're lucky, over here we can't be driving around with no front plates. they probably did drill holes for your front plate holder but i'm sure you can plug them up with something.

I use to use one, and it was a pain in the behind to have to pull it off the windshield everytime I enter Virginia, and being where I am, we enter each others state quite easily and quite a bit.
