check the sticky thread on clubrsx.com, there are plenty of sound clips with various header/exhaust combos. there are some that have a dc header and an exhaust that don't sound too raspy or loud, others do.

I wouldn't skip the exhaust, I'd just save up and get a buddy club header while you're at it.

You can't go wrong that way.

And yes it's loud, but you can always add a cat onto it, a high flow one. Quiet things down.

I have an AEM CAI/DC RH/GReddy EVO II, and it's pretty loud, I posted a sound clip a few days ago, here it is:

a raceheader will set u back in ur seat for sure. more thank without. yes, it will be very loud. especially with a BC exhaust. those ******* are loud. and a race header isnt giong to help. id just get the RH. and exhaust.. if i was gonig for something quiet. id get a ws2, sp2, rsr, etc. BUT. they limit ur gains. thats the parts that sucks. good luck tho. fo sho.

Skip the exhaust!!!!!!, its going to be wayyyyyyy too loud, almost undriveable. You will eventually get sick of it b/c you cant really take a girl out when you car is annoyingly loud and you will get pulled over by every cop that sees you. Keep the stock muffler on it, and whenever you get the craving for some power or noise, just unbolt the muffler. (by far the best thing you could do, its like best of both worlds)

If you put a buddy club header with exhaust and a cai look at your air fuel, im sure you will be leaning out on cylinder # 3.

cat backs should bolt right on. what header do you have? except for the Comptech RH, that is the only RH that requires an adapter. you will be restricting your RH if you keep any oval exhaust

haha that's not saying much. BC exhausts are generally loud. you won't find any exhaust to be quiet with a RH unless you get an oval exhaust, but that would totally defeat the purpose of your RH
