Default california zc smoggin

just some questions to make things clear...

zc's came from japan and were never distributed to the usdm right?

would having a zc in an EF would conflict with CA smog? ie diff motor n what not..

the single cam zc non vtec can pass smog because its identical to the d16a6 minus the different cam. the dohc zc some people have been able to pass them in cali but can only be swaped in 88-89 crx or civic chassis. but you have to try and pass it as a d16a1 swap so its a but tricky than the sohc zc to pass.
