I'm looking for a alternator with a lifetime warranty, any suggestions?? A high output one would be nice, but stock will also work. I have a small audio system with a 500W amp and my stocker is dieing.

 

I would go to your local pepboys or auto zone. For your set up all you need is a stock unit. I would upgrade the battery to the biggest cca that you could fit in the stock location.

 

isn't too many CCA's bad for your starter. I believe it is but i could be wrong.

hmm i was always told if you run too many CCA's that it would burn up your starter and thats why they don't put huge batteries in little cars. But, then again, i could be wrong

 

They don't put huge batteries in small cars because there is no room. Its a small car. No need for a huge battery.

I use them with no problems, I have had more problems with the yellow tops then with them. Not bashing the tops but I been pissed at them last year.
