Default tuning ecu

which obd1 ecu is best to tune? p28, p72 or ect? I heard that p28 are better to tune
for obd2. One of my friend said that obd1 gsr ecu is not better than p28.

there's no ecu is better then other.. when its tuned the basemap will completely change. the p28 is better to use because its cheaper and the p72 has more value to it. so keep the p72 a virgin and rape tha p28

You can take the p28 and convert it to a p72. As in a functional IAB. I got mine to work. It's awesome. All the honda ecu are pretty much the same. It's just different components are used to suite the models need

They all do the same thing!

only thing difference is the IAB and knock board (Knock sensor)

I would get a p28 just cuz its cheaper...unless u have GSR stock manifold with IAB...or want to run a knock sensor...If ur running stiff mounts, knock sensor is useless...to much vibration giving false readings...

But they both work the same...go for the cheaper ecu u can get...

how'd you do that? i've never heard of that being done before. i know that you can convert a non-vtec ecu to vtec, but never heard of the iab function being added.

Get ready for you p28 to ride shotgun as I've yet to see anyone do something good to hide that monster. Too large to fit in the factory p72 housing.
