Mild buld for my b18c5 skunk2 pro1?
Yea I have a stock b18c5 and I wanted to do a mild build. I was planning on changing my valvestrain and getting cams. My car's a daily so i was wondering if I should do skunk2 pro1 or should i do pro2's.
LOL "mild" build with skunk2 pro series cams. those have pretty big primary lobes and have a not so stock idle.
in my opinion, the biggest cam u should be using for a mild build daily driven b series are the skunk2 stg2/blox b cams...although i do like the midrange seen with the buddy club 3 plus's.

Well I did my research
Stage II: Skunk2 Stage II profiles are more aggressive than Stage I profiles, and are designed for modified engines operating at higher rev ranges. Upgrading to Skunk2 Racing valvetrain components is required for proper operation. Stock idle and emission characteristics may be slightly compromised, but fair-to-good driveability allows them to still be used on dual-purpose vehicles. Proper tuning, an upgraded intake system, and an exhaust system are required in order to maximize the potential of these camshafts. Do not use oversized valves.
This is what I'm looking for thanks guys

so again , which one is better and in what rpm range for a b18c 12+ cp?
skunk2 stage2 or skunk2 pro 1 ??
i quess at low rpms to mid the pro1 are better cuz of the larger lobes BUT what happens when vtec enables .....

I'd look into the m22x's by rocket.
