Just picked up an 88 Rex for CHEEEEP!
I heard about the deal for a while now, but the guy ended up contacting me last Fri. His friend had owed him some money so he gave him his 88 Rex as payment... Except this dude is 110% domestic guy. So he takes it and just parks it in his shop for, get this, 11 months.... So I call up the guy and he says that $300 takes it TODAY. Car doesnt run because it doesnt have a battery, and possibly a few other minor issues. motor is a D15B2(100% stock) and has about 225,000 miles, and a fairly recent rebuild. He just needed it outta the shop by the next weekend, so we go and look at it, and I was fairly impressed... Body was in almost perfect condition... ZERO RUST! only about 3 dents/dings on main body. one fender is dented a bit. drivers side rear window needs to be replaced and weatherstriping reglued. Interior is pretty much screwed besides passenger seat. Dash is stripped... cluster is fine. no radio/speakers. Car has a clear title, but just needs some TLC. I ended up getting home for the ultra-super-low price of.............. $200. I plan on making this more of a track ONLY car since the interior is pretty much fugged. Ive got my EG for the street and groceries
Im currently in the process of stripping it down to just the bare body/frame, and will eventually build her back up. i just cant get over the fact that I scored a nice project CRX for so damn cheap... More beer for me I guess
Later guys...
...posting pics eventually...

My friend picked up a 93 Del Sol S for free as well. The ol' lady had been hit in the driver front, and all it needed was for the fender to be pulled out... She just didnt want to deal with it, so she went down and bought a new Expedition... WTF. $50 fender vs. $45,000 gas guzling truck.
