...I just bought a new daily driver, a Grenada Black 1993 Honda Civic. Question is, I don't know what model it is. I'd like to know, but not mandatory. Let me know if there is a way to find out via VIN or what not. Thanks a lot.

 

look on your motor right there.. tell us the number.. its on the left side of the headers when looking at the motor.. right next to the tranny

is it a hatch ,coupe?

 

Post the first few of your VIN, like this:

Tadah, you have an EJ1, also known as a Civic EX.

 

the motor should say d16z6.. and its sohc vtec 1.6

Depends on what hatchback he got his motor from

 

D15 Boo! Whatever, it's all good in the hood, just a daily driver. I think the previous owner put the D16 in his car.
