bolt on, but runs the same at the track.
my friend have a stock 95 gsr (no nothing not even intake) and when he ran it at the track, he ran 14. 7.When he put dc header, aem intake and skunk2 exhaust, he still ran the same. Is it suppose to be a little bit faster?
Weather has a lot to do with how well your car runs also....was there any significant difference the second time he was at the track?
what time did your friend run the first and second run... you do know that your car is a little faster when the weather is cold... and maybe he had a super full tank of gas the second time... (just a thohgt)

$20 says it was the 1/8.
But seriously. Bolt ons don't do anything.

The problem is that people who put on bolt-ons.. or basically mod their engines.. always drive a little differently because the exhaust tone is different and they wanna hear it longer or whatever.. so of course it's gonna "seem" faster.. they're not shifting at 3500 rpm anymore they're shiftering around 5000rpm and pushing the gas pedal down a little harder. Maybe not noticeably to themselves but they are. THAT is the only difference he feels.

if your in sac then check out mod a car they are having a dyno day $13 per run with a min of 3 runs. but all your friend really did was help the motor breath a little better bolt ons dont work in actual numbers its more of a combined affect if you do this this and that with the bolt ons then yea but alone no. get the ecu and the motor tuned and he should get some change. but as far has his time i gotta see aslip to believe that.
