Default took off tb

i took off my tb and inside the manifold i found all this black stuff like resadue stuck on the inside walls so i decided to scrape it off and it all fell inside the bottom of intake mani what is that black stuff and will a can of seafoam help to clean

i took all that stuff out of my intake mani too when i swapped mine... took some off the head as much as i could. dont know what it is, most likely oil or something... what ever it is, it dont look to healthy for engine...

Hey kixcrx.

It is oil from breather and carbon build-up.
Yes seafoam will do a good job.
I use a small vacuum line like the FPR line straight into the manifold
On the side of the can it will have directions, But I only use it in the tank and the IM.
It will clean the IM, the backs of your valves and the CC.

If you are that gooped up you need Seafoam! Mine looks brand new now.

question, but who exactly sells seafoam, and what area in the store would i find it next to... i checked my local kragen, couldnt find it, maybe i wasnt lookin hard enough... thanks!

By the fuel injector cleaner, carb cleaner, etc... I don't think Kragens carries it there might be something close...did you ask them.

Monument is where I get mine.
