Default Shark II vs. MDX Atenna

I just been reading forums about the shark 2 and the mdx atenna at ww.locustom.com and it saids the mdx atenna works the best and went ahead and ordered one for my 94' integra. Has anyone had any problems cause some say it's made for the roof and the mounting is flat and may not be flushed, has anyone bought one and installed it sucessfully?

i was going to shave the antenna but i still admitt i use the fm/am signal, no xm or sirius for me yet, i was going to shave it and purchase the shark 2 and relocate it to the top of the the roof but i didnt want the vw or RC car look so i scratched that idea so im just going to place it in the stock location, as far as i read mdx may not work in the stock location due to its large base, but other stated on the roof top my work again i cant confirm, and if you go for the roof mounted you may have to cut a bigger opening, this may not helped alot just giving what i read and heared...

i have the shark2 from locustom and it looks and works great.

i dont know how the MDX antenna will work with that large square base on it......it might not look right on the car......
