I just got done installing my crappy 400W Pioneer 10" I got for 50 bucks. Made the box and hooked it up myself. I hook it up to my amp (Audio Acoustics 820) and bridged it(I'm learning audio terms! wow!). I turn on my deck and... WOOF. That friggin thing is louder than I ever would have guessed in my LIFE. I turned it on to a pure bass song I had in my brothers car once. I thought my ears were goina start bleeding! I'm friggin deaf! Is this what you guys call a crappy sub?? Cause DAMN!! I'd hate to meet up with a good one! Just thought I would let you guys know I'm please Its really all I needed, and thanks for your help!

 

I remember my first system ,too..... It was a Sansui amp that powered my 3 way R/T box with 2-12"s, 2 mids, and 2 tweeters.... I thought it was the shiznit, too.... Heck, the theives were jealous enough to steal it....
