anyone run a holset turbo on their prelude?
Hi, I've been doin some search on the holset turbos - but nobody seems to run them on h22's, or any h-series for the matter. I am looking into runnig a log manifold with a hx35 (12cm2 housing) - I'm just wondering how it would fit in there (read: I am not removing power steering or a/c). I am definitely considering running a civic 1/2 sized aluminum radiator (thicker) and a traction brace (seen it on here before). That should free up some room for the turbo and downpipe. However, my main concern is keeping the a/c and power steering using a drag-esque log manifold. btw, the car is a '95 prelude. thanks.

Came across this thread https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1 hope that helps
yeah, that was one I went thru also - I think I made it to page 15 or 20 sumthin and didn't see anyone talk about using it on a h22, only d's and b's. I'll keep searching I guess, thanks -- a hx35 12cm2 should be nice for a stock h22 pushin 8-10psi tho.

On the holset? I'm still reading info on them lol, seems like the way they measure their turbos are diff. than Garrett/others.

Your best bet is to run a t3/to4e style turbo.</TD></TR></TABLE>
This is the http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/gat357trw63a.html when I was going to boost my old b18c 'teg. A buddy of mine was telling me to get the same turbo again, as it would be good for what I need. I'm probably going to read up on compressor maps, and figure out what turbo I'll need for what I want.
PS. I'm also going to check out some intercooler options, I don't want anything godly oversized, but something that I could make the most room out of the from bumper cover w/o hacking the crash beam.
PPS. Wether I go w/ another garrett or a holset (both I'm looking at use a t3 flange), I'll most likely need a log manifold to allow me to keep my a/c and p/s intact.
