Default Engine Mismatching.

Ok so I just picked up a real sweet 89 rex only problem is the camshaft on its cylinder head is busted into 2 pieces. Its an automatic so my intention is just to keep it stock fix the a/c so my g/f can have a decent beater so nothing fancy in the works for it I just want to fix the d15 it has in there. I have parts left and an 2 extra d16a6s 1 extra d15, dumb me trys to swap just the a6 cam into the b2 head guess what it snapped too because the old cam ground down where the cam sits so it was lower on the left side of the engine. Anyway this is what I want to do go pick up a b2 camshaft and slap it on the extra a6 head I have because as it turns out the extra b2 I have has the same problem as the first a snapped cam. Can I Use the A6 Head with a b2 cam and not have any timing issues?

Ok now how about this one IF I used the d16a6 complete head and block but just use the dpfi manifold to avoid the mpfi swap would there be any issues there

Ehh, you may have some A/F issues since not enough fuel will be provided for the extra displacement, and getting air in there will also be a problem due to restrictions in the intake tract designed for a 1493cc motor. Don't get me wrong, it'll work I just look at things like that in my mind.
