Default dc race header intall question

my friend (a well experienced mechanic) and i installed a dc race header on my 06 type s this weekend and now i have a rattling/scraping noise that happens whenever i turn the car on, put it in reverse, or decelerate. we double checked all the bolts and nuts from the sway bar and heat shields but the noise is still present. i read on clubrsx that you shouldn't connect the hanger on the header to the stock mounting location and the noise continued with and without using the hanger. i also got the esmm but we haven't installed those yet. could putting those on make the noise go away? any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!

Yea i had the same problem. I call dc sports and their race header was only tested on the 02-04 rsx type s. The header pushes your exhaust up and is hitting the chasis like mine i think. The way i fixed this was i heated up the header and bent it down more. Because of this i dont buy anything from clubrsx anymore because the told me i should have done more research and you have to modify dc headers all the time,

Because DC Sports made a faulty product doesn't mean that it's clubrsx's fault. And BTW, the ESMM's should help.
