I think it goes w/o saying that the 2 incidents are probably caused by the same person/persons.

The one kid I know had his car stolen, his lives in Lancaster. It was a stock red eg, just had some no-name rims and the cops found it in Reading. That place seems way too shady.

I remember that car I think, they just found it parked on a random side street in Reading.

thieves Probably parked it there to let it sit 24 hrs in case it was equipped with lojack so the police wouldn't find their chop shop.

There's definitely a group of people chopping up a lot of civics in PA

Northern OH had a similar problem 2-3 years ago with people getting their 99-00 Si's stolen left and right. It took a while but it finally died down, not sure if anybody ever got caught or not.

it is pretty bad when you need other people to fix your grammar.

they probably ditched it on that side street to let it sit for a day. if it was still there after a day then they could be sure it wasn't equipped with LoJack or other GPS tracking device. They do that to be sure they dont take it to their chop shop with a signal on it and give themselves away. If it's still there after a day or so, then they know its OK to bring back and start ripping it appart.

Glad you got it back in good shape!
