Default PR3-4 is this a type-R head?

Tyring to buy an R... and i am feeling a suspisous engine combo...

PR3-X where X = either 1, 2, 3, 4 is a ITR/B16 head. Look for the green paint near the distributor and the intake manifold. Also look at the trans, you should see JH4 LSD on it.

is this green paint on the back of the head or on the side?

pic will help a lot

yes, the tranny checks with a jh4 lsd, and the block has the b18c5.

is there any other visual way to check for a type R head?

There is no bumping in this forums and please use the search function and go through the archives. This has been asked many times and there are plenty of threads already, I just tried searching to see what I would come up with.

Green paint is also on JDM B16 Heads, not just itr..........fyi
