Default throttle body question
well the engine is dohc zc and today i was just looking around in my engine bay when i noticed a black residue all over the inside of the TB. what would cause this? any potential danger to the engine?

its normal and ok havent you ever took off an intake mani? theres alot of it in there too. you can seafoam it to clean it all out.

never had a problem with any of my intake manifolds so never really had a reason to take one off. but thanks for the info. and will be getting a new intake mani soon for my turbo setup.
