WHERE IS THE FUEL PUMP????

Default WHERE IS THE FUEL PUMP????

I am going to replace my fuel pump on a 93 civic ex D16z6 motor and i was needing to know were the fuel pump is located and i am replacing it with a fuel pump off a 1g dsm and what kinda modification will i have to do ( if any one has done that beforE ) and will it keep up with 550cc injectors?

why would you use a 1G dsm pump? That might not keep up with 550's either, considering the pump would be for 450cc or less, unless you got the JDM pump, which is for 510's.

well thats what i wanted to know was if itd work .. i am only gunna run 15lbs boost and i have 550cc inj. but what pump would keep up with 15lbs.

pistons are rated 20 lbs boost but i got rods and crank complete msd and vafc-2 clutch kit i got all the goodies excepte the fuel system

Have you sleeved your block and upgraded your valve train?

no i have'nt sleeved block and head is stock but i was told buy some other guys that the head will support 350 hp just fine and the block and hold 25lbs boost before getting it sleeved

I've never seen a stock honda block, let alone a Z6. hold 25lb's for too long ....
