Hey guys i dont have a S2000 yet, but im in the Market for one...wanna know whats needed for the ap2( 04-06 S2000 ) conversion on a ap1 ( 2000-2003 S2000)

Is the ap1 hood and fenders the same as the ap2?

just bumper and headlights are different, everything else is the same

coo i was just making sure of that...

 

Fender liners and front under tray. Need to grind away part of the front crash beam to clear the AP2 bumper. Hood and fenders are the same.

How about you get the car first?

f00l since u want a AP1 bumper.. get me a silverstone AP2 bumper wiht lip and u can have mine with the lip....

You can modify it to fit. More importantly is the clearance for the front crash beam. It will poke through your bumper if you dont shave it.

 

thats cool i was sending it MOB anyway... jsut wanted to knowabout the liner

make sure u grind this piece, or you'll have the infamous nipple. almost had it on mine.

no doubt doggie... let me knwo what you gonna get

 

Also if you do this. The old ballast off the ap1 headlights dont match with the ap2 headlights so you have to dremmel out the housing to get the socket thru and also to attach the ballast you have to rig it.

is it possible to bend that piece back instead of shave it off? or do i have to hack it off? im picking one up this weekend.
