Radio Settings.. Pioneer P-680MP
Im pretty much a newb at stereo instal but to make a long story short i had a system in my integra pretty much swapped everything into my prelude but with a new headunit.. i have a 400 watt 4 channel amp connected to 2 5x7's and 2 6 1/2's.. when i play with the settings it seems that when i fade to the front.. all the speakers get louder?? i checked rca's and channels and they seem to be fine? I put fade all the way to the Front and it got extremely loud.. jsut wondering if this is normal? Thanks guys.
So I under stand, your saying that when you fade to the front speakers the fronts get louder but the rears also get louder, "all the speakers get louder", is that correct?
If so, my first question would be what happens when you fade all the way to the rear?
Also, make and model of new HU and 4ch amp, it's possible there is a 2/4 channel switch on the amp, or maybe your using a front out and sub out, [RCA output from HU] or the HU has a switchable non fading output, unless something is wrong or miswired, when you fade to the front or back all the way only the speakers you fading to should get "louder", [not all the speakers] its actually more like turning down the volume of the speakers your fading from.
