Loud Grinding Noise. HELP.
Ok guys i need suggestions before i take my car in to the shop to see wat the h**l is wrong with my car. theres a loud grinding noise when i start driving. at first it was not loud and it sounded like i was dring on messed up pavement but then it gradually got worse because i thought it was just the tires and the pavement making that noise. but now is so loud i cant even hear my self speak in the car. and its worse at 60-80km when driving. Also when driving and turn to the right the nosie disappears, it completly stops. but when i turn left its louder and when driving straight is also loud.. HELP.. no clue wat that might be..
Thats what i thought but i did lift the car up and the wheels bearings had no problems at all.. but then again im not a 100% sure.. i just want to have ideas before i take it in, cuz as y'all know mechanics now days are not like they used to be... fair and square. (not that they ever were, cant blame them) thankx tho.. i need more help guysplz..
how do you know the bearings were fine? my back bearing is out right now, it's bolted onto the car, so there is no play, but if you take it off it has tons of play. the cornering thing you said makes sense too, turning one way takes pressure off the tire, so the bearing won't make that noise. turning the other way puts more pressure on it and it makes more noise. if it's in the rear, just take it off and look at it. if it's in the front, i think they are pressed in.

i would assume its in the front since the sound gets louder when he turns, it wouldnt make since if it was a rear bearing

So if im turning to the right then and the noise would go away... and then while turning to the left thenoise comes back even worse.. wich wheel bearing would u say it is. thankx a lot bro.

my rear wheel bearing made more noise when i turned one way and less when i turned the other way. there is plenty of pressure on the rear when turning, not just the front. if a vehicle has 50/50 weight distribution it'd be equal noise either way, think about it. idk what an integra has though for weight distribution.. but my point is still valid, and i'm living proof of that.
