I searched and got 98 threads. I found the very informative 'how to install jdm non srs into eg.' Very good thread but doesn't answer the question I have. How do I disassemble the wheel to get it on? I don't see any torx screws like on SRS wheels. I read one post where a guy said to 'carefully pry it apart, it is held with velcro.' Is there any validity to this? I don't want to start prying and break/scratch my brand new steering wheel.

Yeah I took mine apart very easily, although mine was used and the velcro was obvious, and easy to get off, a newer one might be harder.


Once you get the velcro off you'll see how simple the design is.
