Might wanna try the "Wheel and Tire" Forum. I heard somebody mention the other day that a 0 offset won't work, but I'm not sure, just something I read in the middle of some other post...

you cannot go just by offset. you have to have wheel width, then you need to figure out backspacing. a 0 offset on a 6" wheel would be different then a 7" wheel. personally, i run 4.5~5" of backspace, which on a 8" wheel would be approx +12~25 offset. but, i have modified fenders, and the lip ground off completely in the rear of the car.
this is a pic of FD twin turbo RX7 16x8 +50 with half inch spacer wheels on my eg. (total offset +38, 5.5" backspace) they JUST clear the 1/4 panel, with the lip entirely removed. i run a big spring rates 1000#+, so there is not a lot of movement either.

a 8" wheel with 0 offset would push the wheel 1.5 inches out past where my wheels are, and would DEFINATELY not work without serious quarter panel mods.
