Reflashing the ECU?
I don't know how true this is, but I've heard that after modifications (like I/H/E) having the ECU reflashed will help with performance and gas mileage. Any Truth to this? Also I've been having a CEL for an o2 sensor keep coming back, all new sensors and the wiring is fine. I was told that having the ECU reflashed will cure this since it resets all the paramiters (sp?) of the ecu and re-learns the ECU to the current settings?
Is Honda the only place that can reflash the ECU? and is their any truth to this?

You can reflash obd2 ecus, it costs LOTS. and the only ppl that might have the tom gear is a dealership. or maybe some rich tunner basterd.
simply unplugging the ecu will reset it.
No, a new bin will not fix your problem.
its either your sensor, wiring. reset the ecu and see what happens

As far as I know, only OB2a (96-98) can be reprogrammed... There's a couple places that I can think of, InlineFour and Erick's racing... So your options are to convert to OB2a or OB1 if you want ECU work done. Another option is to run a piggyback like a VAFC or E-manage, etc...
