EF tranny internals swapped into an eg case?

alright, i have a 93 ex tranny and a rebuilt cable ZC with an si final drive, new cyncrols or how ever you spell it, and i was wondering if i could take the internals out of the EF cable trannys and put them in my hydro EG case? if someone can let me know id really appreciate it.
88-91 mainshafts and countershafts are a few mm shorter than 92-00 shafts.
so this means that 1st & 2nd cannot be swapped easily, it's been done, but not easily
d16z6
1st = 3.25
2nd = 1.900
dohc cable zc
1st = 3.25
2nd = 1.944
the zc 2nd is very close to the z6 2nd, swapping the zc 3-4-5 is a very popular mod. Everything drops in except for 4th gear, it requuires a little bit of modification to the inner diameter because honda flipped the 3-4 synchro hub for the hydro trans.
mista bone modify's these 4th gears for around $25
or if you have access to a 1.0666 92-95 vx/cx 3rd that will work as well.
also, the cable si final drive of 4.25 is the same ratio of the d16z6 ex 4.25, so basically you could have identical gear except 2nd gear being slightly off

thanks man i appreciate it, but i only know a little bit about trannys, ive never been inside one before so its kinda giberish, is there any way you can explain it better
could i just take my 3rd gear syncro out of the ef tranny and put it in the eg, cause thats the only problem with my eg tranny?
