ok.. this is what happened i have a teggy that
i bought and it has a autometer? tach and somehow
while i was driving it sparked and smoked like a BITCH!!!! lol

anyways drove up to my homies driveway and told him to get
some pliers so i can pull the wire out glowing red!!!!

so everything is cool smoke goes away and all good until i sit and
turn on the car on the rear lights aint work (fixed) when i turned the lights
on, and the DASH and A/C things wont light up everything else lights
up im not understangind RPM's MPH everythin works... the green lights
on the ac thingy work

looked at all the fuses they look good and i mean i dunno!!!

Sounds like you fried some other wiring back there.....take a look at the rest of the wiring and find the fried one.

check where??? checked by the fuse box on the bottom
all straight...

 

behind the dash would be my assumed spot....ie, the dash harness that runs to the climate control.

 

something like that happened to me in my old civic coupe. i was told it was the dimmer switch....but i never swapped it out to check it.
