Full-Race K-Series Stage 1 Kit - 2006 Civic Si?
Has anyone successfully installed one of these kits on the newest Civic Si?
My brother in-law is looking for a kit for his Si, and I'm curious to know if this kit clears the awkward dashboard/firewall design on the Si...?

There are not really any solid engine management options for this platform at the moment. This really restricts the car from anything more then bolt ons.
I talked to geoff a while back about turboing a K-Series at that time he said that it wasnt the best platform to turbo. I wonder if thats changed since the motor has been on the market for a while now.

I believe Full Race can and will make you a kit for your brother in law, specifically for the SI. I think the only option you have right now is a Hondata reflash. Just contact Full Race or one of their dealers for more info if he's serious. They will make it happen.

Mitch </TD></TR></TABLE>It must have been a long, long while back. Being that Full Race makes many kits for K series and many people with them are making really good power, even on stock engines.
Just research on the Clutchmasters Integra that Matt Keller used to drive, just to see some of the potential of a built turbo K series.

The questions is in regards to the 2006 si civic, not general k-series. The engine has only slight differences but the ecu is not able to have k-pro installed (as of now). Most of the problem is because they run a drive-by-wire throttle system.

I think it limits you to only around 8psi, but I know there was a turbo SI making nearly 400HP only with the reflash.

The reflash is intended for bolt on like intake and exhaust

In response to that, you can check out these threads. If you don't feel like reading though all of it, basically the first one by Geoff Raicer says, they will custom make you a kit specifically for the SI, if you want, but you are limited to only 8psi with the Hondata reflash. The second one is from a person who got tuned by Doug from Hondata, which they do have a reflash specifically tuned for that turbo kit.

This is a link to that manufacturer's turbo kit. They have a little info about their reflash.
