Whats up w/ all of these Non-Honda Threads?
I know I'll probably get'n some flames for this, but I really dont care. Now I know that there are alot of people on honda-tech.com that have non-honda vehicles and that is completely fine, but what is up with post'n entire threads devoted to other vehicles besides Hondas?
This is HONDA-TECH not anything else.

Probably because alot of people have Hondas PLUS other cars, or like other cars as well, and want to share those with other people on here as well.
Who cares, don't click the non-Honda thread if you don't want to see it.

because most of us here are car enthusiast, and not just honda enthusiast. And plus its nice to see different car and not just hondas all the time.
As much as I TOTALLY agree with these replies... If I wanted to see a suby... I would go look at a suby forum. And if I wanted to see a BUNCH of different imports and even just cars in general... I would go to a forum specializing in that sort of thing. IMO this being HONDA-tech... it seems that people would be coming here to look at honda's (in the ac section anyway)... Just my opinion on the matter. I do think however that many people ONLY view this site and feel like its almost a home site instead of just Honda-tech... if you know what I mean.

Yeah, I don't go to other car forums (besides the local forums) because I don't own anything else besides my Integra. So I like seeing other cars on here other just Hondas 24/7. Who cares anyway, it's just in the Appearance forum. It's not like there's non-Honda threads in the tech forums (I hope not).
I did all the time when i got my dsm and nissans.
It happens. Honda-Tech is love, no matter if you are a honda owner or not.
Some of the most OG guys on this forum are non honda owners.

i agree with the op... i complain everytime i see ppl post evo's, neon srt4's, and even VW's up in here...
There are forums out there for everyone of those cars not HONDA tech.. i am a HONDA ENTHUSIAST and if i wanna see other cars i do go to their boards not here... just try posting a nice honda on vw vortex and i guarantee you'll get flack.

I think what you don't realize is that some of us have spent more than $15k in aftermarket parts on top of purchasing our rides so yes i'm sure a lot of us can afford bigger/better things but we stick to hondas because thats what we like... at least thats the way I am although the new is350's are swaying me towards a new purchase.

to me its nice to see the other car threads cause its really breaks up the monotony that sometimes consumes the appearance forum.. i mean there is so many times i can see this EG or that EK before it becomes a dull moment!

I fully comprehend that people have dumped a lot of money into their Civics, and that they really enjoy them...BUT in the end, a Civic is a Civic.. and change is good.
I guess it would be natural progression to move towards bigger/better.. People who drive Civics later on in life are trying to hold onto a past that is long gone, and they are denying the "all good things must come to an end" mentality. It's a little unreasonable.
Don't get me wrong, if you drive a Civic because it's reliable, good on gas, etc etc. later on I dont think anything is wrong with that. BUT if your getting close to middle age, and you drive a Civic and still think your a baller or stunna or whatever.. There's something not right about that.
I would say more, but I'm tired and it's time for bed.. probably going to be hated on for the rest of this thread too.

Just a quick question since when was an NSX above anyne who has income?
I drive a civic b/c I'm in Japan and cant get loans here, but personally when I return to the states I'm getting an S2k. I agree with some of these guys yeah at the age of 30 I dont want to be in a civic thinkin that I am a baller or "the man" although I will have my EG6 as a race car. Which is why I'm investing in an S2k b/c since when did you see a bad *** S2k with 10-15k in it and go man he should get a real car.
Sorry just a honda enthusiast for life. Not really agreeing completely with the OP's thread just taking up for where my hearts at

I post pics up of my honda on dsm boards i still frequent. I figure if you are an OG here, people probably want to know what's up with your new car.
Anyways, if you really don't want to see other types of cars, i'll let you in on something. I learned this when i was younger. There is this little arrow thing at the top of the window. One points left, that's the one you want. You click it and then go back to where you were before. It's pretty cool actually.
