Default my build! ef sedan

i wanted to start this build since I got the car 6 months ago... up until now I havent really had money.... Im not looking for crazy speed or appeal just something thats reliable and quick....

I wish I would have had pics of when I got the car.. I got the car at a car auction... some field workers owned... I got it for $700... the interior was dirty with dried dirt... the trunk had boots and **** still in.. everything was muddy basically not only that the oil was blacker than hersheys syrup.... just really mistreated.. but it started with the first tunr of the key everytime...
heres me 1990 honda civic ex...
a few months after I got it... whe I had hub caps.

since then I have gotten a set of rims at the junkyard which I sanded down and painted there 15 in honda rims.. got them of a hb.. this is how I got them

sanded down and painted.... well more like the finished product

I also painted an old valve cover I had... But I dont think Im gonna use this one... Im gonna take the one of the zc and paint it blue.. heres the one I painted

heres the sohc zc... and zc tranny with axles...

I also took my front bumper off and added a front lip.. I completely sanded it and resprayed it with black

me and my buddy taking the tranny and block out.. ghetto with no hoist. hahahhaa

I posted about this before I was wondering what this is... its on my positive battery connection

with rims and just cleaned

Im gonna be getting 4-2-1 headers not sure from who yet.. but I will be pretty soon.. Its gonna have that ebay intake... new iridium plugs and wires are gonna be on there way soon.. .. sony inside speakers and deck are going back In also...
I just painted the oil pan ornage too.. its pretty nice.,.. motor should be In by the end of the week...

let me know what you guys think...

also tell me what that thing is on the positive terminal

Hope you didn't sneeze while pulling the engine on those jacks!!! Ghetto-tech rules as long as you don't end up pinned under the bitch! Nice work. The swap looks clean. Losing the projectors is a big improvement....

five lug conversion nice take all that garbage off the battery cable its probably from a stereo or something stupid. theres nothing wrong with dropping a motor from the bottom i think its easyer.

the connection things on ur battery looks like a really jacked up system conection, that would be my guess, seeing how it has fuses and all, on the build drop it and swap it!!! then u will get another thumbsup

Nice! Good to see another EF sedan saved. I was going to mention those ricer projectors but I saw that you put the originals back on.. I would stay away from clear corners and grab some amber corners (or paint the clear corners amber) and do a nice drop!!

Boost it!

you'll make more than 150 if you do. Just keep it at about 8 psi and you should be fine.

Go to the yard, find a turbo, pull it, get a HF manifold, Adapter plate and some misc charge pies and do a HMT Set up on it.

yea I love my little ef...
a lot of people dont see potential in older cars like ef's. but I do...
I can tell you one thing though.. One day rich kids around my neighborhood are gonna start getting beat down... I hate when rich kids try to say my car is ****.. expletive them and there parents cars and money.. Im glad to say that I have done about 100% of the work on this car and will continue doing so.. andI have spent all of my own money on the build... everyone tells me just get a new car... forget making payments and lacking style.. ef's all the way... ef sedan squad.. Ill be posting pics of the car as its getting done.. you should start thinking if you want a new member!
