well i was hopeing it would be covered under warranty and i did test drive it and it didnt do it then ...well then again i wasnt driving it as fast it takes a couple of days to get to know the car cuz im finding other things wit the car but are minor and its kinda hard to deal wit cuz i wont be able to drag race any 1 or i will lose cuz it will miss 3rd and scratch like hell lol
well this thread is very ironic, i just finished talking to my friend that owns an rsx like two seconds ago he took his rsx for an exhaust leak (stock car) and he mention the grind in third gear and they are rebuilding his tranny, it seems like all the rsxs are having the same problem...

Do a search. There is a TSB for this problem. It affects the 02-early 04 RSX-S.
Go to an Acura dealer and tell them about it. You should get it covered.

man, you're completely clueless arnt u?
im not sure if Nissan offers any type of used car warranty, but i know honda and acura both sell their used cars with a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty on the cars they sell. call your local dealership u bought it from and ask. pretend to be an interested buyer because they will be more willing to help you out.

hahaha. man this thread makes me laugh. to the thread starter. if you didnt know about the infamous grind. then... well you expletive`d up. my 06 is still brand new. but i have heard most if not all of my DC5 friends that grind their gears. its not the driver. its really just the shitty transmission. do more research before you buy the car. if you did know about it. sorry. even then, you should have test drove it first. good luck man. fo sho.
