Wht can I can I do to gain HP without adding turbo? to my 98 prelude
I know there are many things i can do to my 98 prelude... but i want to gain about 100 hp without adding turbo... wht ideas do u guys have that i can reach that.
good luck with that, a supercharger would be your second option, but you will still not get nearly as close.
i think one of the most all motor setups is running around 250ish,

turbo would be the best choice for your goal

I was wondering the same thing..although im not looking for 100hp...but I do want it to still be smoggable at least.
start off by not spending money on parts and learning what parts actually make power and which dont. That is what our faq is for

Honda318dx would be a good person to talk to.
His Honda Challenge H22 was putting down 230+ on a Dynojet, which would probably be 260 HP SAE Net by 1998 standards.
I doubt you could get more than that and be completely reliable as a street car.
