Get the lightest suit that you can afford. I started with a Sparco Sprint 5 and it was like wearing a snowmobile suit. I was sweating before I even entered the car. I now have a Sparco X-light 300, its like wearing pajamas, I love it.
Even in the summer with a cool shirt I was uncomfortable with the Sprint, but I do live in Arizona and we race all summer.
Some of the European suits will fit a little different so you should try one on before you buy. There is nothing like having your suit bind your shoulders all race long, you will get claustrophobic real quick.
Get the most expensive one you can afford. And get a 3 layer for safety.
