Default ef sedan 90 ex

alright guys... well My freind just bought the same car that I have. Its a grey 1990 civic ex.... he is also gonna be doing a sohc zc swap like me...(mine will be done in a week) anyways... the thing is he is suppose to have a d16a6... but he has a D15B6 in it... which I believe is the hf motor.. 8 valves. 1.5... Its mpfi so he wotn need to change that... what ecu is he running though.. did sedans come factory with a D15B6 option... what ecu do they have... thanks guys..

No that motor was swapped into it. ex's and si's all came with a d16a6.

The stock ecu is the pm6, more than likely the car is running the hf ecu.

The d15 would run rich with the pm6.

Swap it out with a pm8.
