is this my motor mount?!!?
ok my front motor mout needs to be replaced but i wanted to know if this is why my car jerks when it looks like its going to another gear. When in a neiboorhood ir really does it the most but when im on a main road if it does you can barely fell the jerk it but its only when im going 25 -30 eccelerating to 35 and stopping also
what do you think? when im in park and s my car is idling and when i put i it in reverse going up the driveway sometimes you can hear a metal click noise .

is your car automatic?
edit: nvm, yes it is if you can put it park.
one of my motor mounts is going out (according to a recent shop visit) and i can hear a noticeable 'knock' sound when the car is lightly jerking back and forth when im in first, or when i take off from a dead stop. i have a manual transmission tho.
but that 'jerking' when changing gears that you are describing could be an auto-transmission problem.

seems to be a motor mount...take a look at it, and see if the rubber is disappearing
