Default -Lip fitment question?

Im looking into buying a Mugen front lip for my 01 Civic. But all the ones that are for a 01-03 are made out of ABS plastic, which I heard brake very easy during instalation? I was trying to find a Polyurethane one but I have no luck. My real question is will the 99-00 Si polyurethane mugen lip fit my 01 ? Cuz Ill rather go with the PU lip than the ABS plastic. What do ya'll guy think.

LMK ASAP, cuz im trying to get one today.
Thanks In advance.

well you have an 01-03 and the lip is for an 01-03 so there shouldnt be as much stress on the lip during install...should fit fine, although im sure they make them in urethane out there...

Trust me a lip is soo easy you would surprised. Abs plastic is flexible it does not break as easy as u think. Takes alot to break that abs plastic lip. If you get a lip from an older civic you will have to stretch and that would be morelikely to break than a lip made for our year.

i have a 99-00 urethene type r lip...it works...

but thats cause they dont make that lip for the 04-05...

since they do make lips for 01-03 minimal mods are needed and as long as you dont drive like a dumbass you shouldnt break your lip...and they arent that expensive to replace

I am rocking a type R right now. BUt the other day i cracked it. I think im gunna go lipsless soon, after i lower my car more.

They just get costly after u break them.

I have already gone through a Mugen lip, and now my type R has a small piece broken off in the corner ( hardly noticeable), but it still looks bad.

rears arent even Close.

The only rear lip that would work on the 04-05's is the REverb ( in canada) or watever the USA calls its 04-05 Aero lip.
