You need to not be a trial user, then post in the marketplace. Read the rules.

there is a for sale/wanted thread but I guess you can't see it because you don't have enough posts yet.
With all the problems like this I would think it would be a good idea to have a noob for sale, wanted, wtt thread that first timers can see and post in.

The reason we don't do this is simple sadly people will join just to sell, not that it's too bad but we want them to post a bit to get to know them.
The real problem with noob sellers is risk of scam, is someone whos well known and part of HT going to rip off a member? Liklyness goes down but it still happens.
Has anyone reported this?

Yes I realize this and I am sure sadly some people would get ripped off if they bought parts from a noob sight unseen and paypaling without a name, phone number, address ect. But what I would hope people would do if there was a noob FS/WTB/WTT section is buy locally and meet the seller face to face and buy direct. If it is to far away simply just don't buy from them untill they get a rep.
Even as it stands now you only need what 20 posts to start posting in marketplace? I don't think that would stop any scammers.
Either way I'm not complaining about anything, was just simply trowing an idea out there.
