Default 95 civic radio install

ok, so i feel like i never get off this site cuz i need so much help. but my newest problem i have encountered is installing a new head unit. the previous one was stolen and all the wires were just slashed. i couldnt find a power wire with the rest of the harness. so initially i wired a power wire to hazard lights power wire. i figured those always have power so therefore it would save the presets and such. it didnt. so yesterday i wired it directly to the battery. but im still not getting any power when its turned to accessory, only when its on or started and all my presets are lost again. any one have any other suggestions, or am i just SOL?

wow man that sucks. well the first thing to do is get a HAYNES manuel and get the wiring from that. here is the part number for that...but be sure to make extensions for the wires that were cut. it will be a bich tryin to splice and place butt connecters that far inside the dash. so make it easier on yourself

Try this, and check your connections and fuses

go on ebay and find the stock radio harness and just color match the wires and you are good on the stock harness part, but for the aftermarket head unit you are going to install, just get a jumper harness for the stock harness and color match that jumper harness to the harness on the back of the new head unit...

just get something like this, but this is sort of pricey...i've found some for like $6....or so...but you just need to look around...
