ok my friends dizzy went out and i went and bought him one...his car is a 90 civic hatchback DX....i went to install it and the mounting bolts aren't correct...two line up but then the other one doesn't and has a 1/2 inch gap between...even after i install the bolts and try tightening...and try starting it...the dizzy wobbles around....
part number on the old one TD01U.....new one is td01.....looks exactly the same...i thought all the dizzy are interchangeable since i cross reference some of the part numbers and they seem to use the same ones.....? except for the SI ones...
does the DX and STD use the same dizzy????? when i slapped the old dizzy back on it was ok and car started ......the bearing was going out on the old one but it was still able to start the car

ok i kno wat u did wrong. the dizzy is correct but its not lined up correctly, look at ur ignition rotor and spin it around a full 180 degrees. if it was pointing down make it point up. this happened to my buddy and his dizzy was wobbling around like if it was about to fall out. flip the rotor and u should be fine.
