Default I need Auto trans Gurus help. 92 accord.

I have a 92 Accord and the trasn went bad. I bought a used one from the junkyard and put it on. It drove about 5 miles and it did the same thing ( When I put it in park while its running it makes a loud grinding noise sorta like when you put a basaball card on a biycle wheel) and it wont go into any of the gears. I put cheap fluid in it so I wouldnt spend too much on it plus i was gonna change it the next day. could that have been the problem? I replaced that one and got another one and it did the same thing. WTF? Any help or insight would be great. Im tired of changing that damn trasnmission.

well that's a silly fix to the problem

I bet you need to adjust your shifter cable. That may have been the problem all along.
