Random question what are these EBAY PERFORMANCE CHIP's? any one ever buy these?
I guess I need to edit this, and say Im not looking to buy this for my integra. Im curious if i can save gas mileage on my Beater Civic. Tryin to save a buck on the gas prices these days
I was just curious what these where? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...05165 has anyone ever bought these things? looking at his feedback loost like alot of people felt something or could see better gas milage? it says plug and play? like a jumper harness somewhere, on the ecu or on a sensor in the engine wiring harness? I wonder if you can make this same thing for like $.30 at radio shack like if its a resistor or something... lets here your input

it's just a resistor that when put in makes your computer think it's 54 degree's. it adjusts the air/fuel mixture to that then. 54 degree's is supposed to be an ideal temp i hear.

ur better off getting something that can actually tune your car. you would be amazed how much power and how much better your car will run with something like hondata.

the "blind" chips are not worth the money or time
apply that money toward a good hour on the dyno and your car will reward you with much better power outputs and reliability

you can get good quality stuff on ebay.. you mainly have to stay away from the shady looking parts and sellers.
